Ahli Football Club of Egypt beat this evening Zamalek Football Club 3/2 at Hazza bin Zayed stadium in Al Ain to win the Super Cup. The match was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of Al Ain club football company, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Chairman of the Board of National Media Council, Mohammed Al Mahmood, Chairman and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Media Company, Arif Al Awani, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Company, and Wael Al Sayed Mohammed Gad, Egypt’s Ambassador to the UAE.
It was also attended by the members of UAE and Egypt’s Football Associations, representatives of Ahli and Zamalek football clubs, and football fans.

The two teams faced each other for the first time in front of fans since a deadly stadium riot that left more than 70 fans dead.
